The company was officially registered on 9. January 2023 and all authorization processes are now successfully completed.  While various locations were taken into consideration, Sibiu stood out with its business-friendly climate and scored the most points based on a set of social and financial criteria. Good cooperation with local authorities, a solid business network and access to skilled workforce were among the decisive factors. The recruitment process is underway, many talented candidates have already applied for administrative jobs. The second recruitment round for production workers is coming up this summer and we are hoping for equally high interest in these opportunities. In total, 25 new jobs are planned this year still. 

The very first employee of CEDES Hermannstadt SRL is Tudor Avram , Managing Director. Based on his broad experience in business development in the region, he was charged with setting up and managing the new site. The production hall rented for this purpose in the industrial zone Sura Mica is being renovated and equipped with adequate infrastructure for the manufacturing of our VITECTOR by CEDES portfolio for industrial doors, acquired last year from FRABA. We are now preparing the transfer of components and production assets from Poland to Romania. Production start is planned for autumn 2023.  

This major step will help CEDES optimize its logistics and production processes in a significant way. We are excited to see the new CEDES Group subsidiary grow in the coming years.
