IoT services and devices

CEDES Elevate

CEDES Elevate is a cloud-based IoT platform that enables smart elevator management, optimizing service through data-driven maintenance recommendations, and people flow insights.

cegard/Smart ECom solution (data hub)

The cegard/Smart ECom solution bundles passenger safety with exceptional operational efficiency. It combines door safeguarding (compliant with EN 81:20 and A17.1-2019/-2022) with an elevator data hub connecting to our cloud-based IoT platform CEDES Elevate and enabling multimedia emergency communications.

cegard/Smart solution (stand-alone IoT)

The cegard/Smart solution provides door safeguarding (compliant with EN 81:20 and A17.1) and connects to our cloud-based IoT platform CEDES Elevate, allowing for 24/7 elevator health monitoring and people flow analysis.

Positioning and control systems

APS

The APS is a contactless absolute positioning system for elevators. It supports speeds of up to 20 m/s and distances of up to 1,500 m. As SIL 3 rated, it can be used for safety-relevant functions.

iDiscovery

The iDiscovery is a powerful SIL 3 and EN 81-20/50 compliant safety supervisor unit. In conjunction with CEDES’ APS (Absolute Positioning System), it takes over safety-relevant functions of the elevator.

Light curtains

cegard/Mini-CC

The cegard/Mini-CC light curtain offers a major increase in the level of safeguarding of elevators doors thanks to its criss-cross beams, which remain active up to complete elevator door closure.

cegard/Mini-MOD

The cegard/Mini-MOD’s relay-output and universal power supply allows it to be efficiently integrated into any existing elevator facility, with no need for additional components.

easygard

CEDES easygard100 light curtains are designed in line with the latest elevator door requirements. The products are compliant with the EN81-20 code, offer an excellent performance, and meet highest quality expectations.

TOF 3D sensors

IMS 100 Pro

The IMS 100 Pro provides a new level of safeguarding by monitoring the elevator entrance area. This reduces overall door-opening times and improves elevator efficiency.

TOF/Start

The TOF/Start detects people or objects approaching escalators, revolving and swing doors, industrial doors and personnel sluices. Cross-traffic is ignored, ensuring energy-efficient usage.

CabSafe™

The 2019 North American Elevator Safety Code (ANSI A17.1-2019 / CSA B44-19) defines new and clarifies existing requirements for the means of detecting persons or objects between the doors (2D) or approaching the elevator (3D). CEDES CabSafe™ system, consisting of a Controller, a 2D light curtain and a 3D TOF sensor, can fulfill all these code requirements and more.

Emergency communication

cegard/Smart ECom solution (data hub)

The cegard/Smart ECom solution bundles passenger safety with exceptional operational efficiency. It combines door safeguarding (compliant with EN 81:20 and A17.1-2019/-2022) with an elevator data hub connecting to our cloud-based IoT platform CEDES Elevate and enabling multimedia emergency communications.

EasyGate IP

The end of 2G and 3G networks is approaching. Transition seamlessly to modern 4G with the EasyGate IP. Connect an analogue elevator communicator to the gateway. This will ensure voice or data (VoIP) communication via a mobile network with an operations centre.

Accessories

UPS

The Universal Power Supply (UPS) offers a 24 V power supply for sensors, e.g. cegard/Mini. Input voltages ranging from 20 to 265 VAC or 20 to 375 VDC can be converted. The sensor’s semiconductor output will also be converted to a potential-free relay contact.

UPS Plus

The Universal Power Supply UPS Plus has two potential-free relay outputs and enables the simultaneous connection of two sensors. Input voltages can range from 20 to 265 VAC or 20 to 375 VDC.

Power line converter

The power line converter offers a 24 V power supply for sensors, e.g. cegard/Mini. Input voltages ranging from 85 to 265 VAC can be converted. The sensor’s semiconductor output is also converted to a potential-free relay contact.
