cegard/Smart, B variant
The cegard/Smart B variant controller is available for elevators with two entrances and with optional 3D entrance area monitoring.
The cegard/Smart light curtain is equipped with a large number of sensors for 24/7 elevator health monitoring on top of its standard door safeguarding function. In the B variant, Internet connectivity needed to communicate with CEDES Elevate is ensured by EasyGate IP from 2N, a gateway supporting 2G, 3G and 4G networks with voice transmission over VoLTE and mainly VoIP. Thanks to a backup battery, the gateway works even when there is a power cut.
