Our Project Manager Ariane Metzger praised the work of the entire trade show team: “I had the pleasure of being on the interlift organization team for the tenth time already. Each trade show is different, and it was the first time we had a co-exhibitor. CEDES and relayr did a great job together and it certainly felt like one team! My special thanks also goes to our booth builder and longstanding partner Max Rappenglitz GmbH, who enabled us to present our solutions in the best possible light.” 

At this year`s interlift, we celebrated the European premiere of our new IoT offering, combining cegard/Smart, the IoT-enabling light curtain from CEDES, with relayr`s predictive maintenance platform SKYLER Elevate. The CEDES hoistway safety systems were a further highlight. Our iDiscovery was presented not only at the CEDES booth, but also as a “guest star” by Raloe, Felesa and CiA. In his presentation at the VFA Forum, our Product Manager Alex Ackermann explained the tremendous advantages of combining iDiscovery with an electrically activated safety gear like the ones manufactured by Wittur, Cobianchi or Dynatech. This solution makes many conventional elevator components redundant, simplifying the hoistway in an unprecedented way.

The CEDES product presentation was completed with our field-proven door safeguarding solutions. These included the well-known CEDES 2D light curtains with the latest addition to the portfolio - the cost-optimized easygard, as well as 3D sensors for entrance area monitoring, IMS 100 Pro. Thus, all our guests could find an elevator solution to suit their particular needs. “Our booth aroused great interest from the visitors”, says Andreas Hunziker, Managing Director EMEA & RoW. “CEDES products are designed to significantly reduce the number of elevator components as well as the installation and maintenance effort. In this way, we contribute to sustainability and provide an answer to the shortage of skilled professionals.”
